The Faith Enrichment Committee is dedicated to providing life-long Catholic religious education and opportunities for Faith Enrichment for our parish community. Formation of our Catholic faith begins in early childhood, but all ages hunger for ways to deepen their faith within the context of church, family and society.
Plans, coordinates, and provides opportunities and information for programs of adult continuing education and formation. The committee has the lead role in coordinating the parish Lenten Retreat.
Religious Education for Children (ages Pre-K to 6th Grade)
Provides religious education opportunities for parish children Grades 1-6. 3 years to Kindergarten on Sunday, bible stories, songs, and crafts. Adult volunteers needed to act as catechists and aides.
Provides religious education programs for parish youth grades 7 to 12. Adult volunteers needed to act as catechists, aides, discussion leaders, and to help with food.
Assists those who are inactive or alienated from the Church to return to their Catholic Faith Community and become active members of the St. James Family.
Offers the process to welcome new members into the Catholic Church. Parishioners act as sponsors for to the candidates on their faith journey and as catechists for inquiry sessions.
Married couples counsel engaged couples to help them prepare for married life. Training will be provided.

St. James School
Provides academic and religious education as a state-accredited school with certified teachers for pre-school through 8th grade

St. James School Board
Works with the Pastor and the Principal as an advisory board as they develop long range planning. The board consists of the PTA President and five members elected by St. James Parish.

St. James School PTO
Supports the St. James School, the teachers and the students through fund-raising and morale-boosting activities, such as the Fall Festival, Teacher Appreciation Week, Bingo, Market Days, Field Day, Year Book, and Traffic Control.
Adult and Youth Peer Ministers share in the vision and mission of Youth Ministry. Volunteers needed to help plan and coordinate youth ministry events, meetings and service projects.
Provides opportunities for youth to share their gifts with the parish and community by becoming involved through service projects, social activities, and youth liturgies and retreats. Teens are encouraged to become involved in leadership roles and adults act as mentors and chaperones.
