At least one of the child’s parents must be Catholic and a registered, practicing member of the parish. Both parents participate in a baptismal preparation class. The Church wants Baptisms to be celebrated when the Christian community is gathered together so that we may all welcome and adopt these children into God's family. Parents are encouraged to celebrate the baptism of their child in the Sunday liturgy. Only serious pastoral reasons are factors for setting the baptism at another time. There are no baptismal celebrations during the Lenten season. Make arrangements for classes and the Baptism with the pastor through the Parish Office.
