St. James has a long history of Southern hospitality combined with a Christian spirit and history in the heartland of the nation since our founding in 1851. St. James has a heritage passed down by our parishioners, priests, and religious sisters. As you walk through our facilities you will sense a lasting legacy left behind by so many; a legacy that continues today. Our church has been filled with tears and joy, happiness and sorrow, laughter and prayer. It is a place of spiritual renewal and joyful singing.
