I hope you enjoy the use of our website. As you look around you’ll find that St. James Church is a very prayerful, active, inclusive, welcoming, and caring faith community. We have ministries and activities for folks of all ages and interests. I’m proud and humbled to be the pastor here, and the folks here at St. James are folks who are very proud of the parish they have helped to build. I hope that you too would like to be part of our worshipping and serving parish.

This parish was founded in 1851. So, we have a history of Southern hospitality, Catholic worship, and Christian compassion built upon the shoulders of many great lay men and women, religious sisters, and priests. From our ministries to those in need in Hardin County to the upkeep and improvement of our facilities here, the legacy of St. James Church is one that everyone involved here seeks to continue. Our parish plays and prays very well. We always seek to be a Church family that tries to imitate Christ in Word and deed.
