Family Faith Formation is a program of religious education aimed at the entire family. It offers classes for children age 3 – grade 6, including preparation for the Sacraments of 1st Reconciliation/1st Communion.
Recognizing that the family is the domestic church and that “parents should, by their word and example, be the first preachers of the faith to their children” (Lumen Gentium 11), this program intends to teach the faith to children and their parents at the same time. By empowering parents to teach the faith, Christ becomes the true center of the family and the source of their love and activity. In this way, an entire parish is transformed, one family at a time.
