Eucharistic Adoration is a practice in the Roman Catholic Church in which the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by the faithful. Adoration is a sign of devotion to and worship of Jesus Christ, who is present in Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, under the appearance of the consecrated host. As a devotion, Eucharistic adoration, prayer, and meditation are more than merely looking at the Blessed Host, but is a continuation of what was celebrated in the Eucharist.
Saint James Catholic Church offers Eucharistic Adoration at the following times each week:
6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday
8:30-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday*, Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday
8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday
*When school is in session, and if there is no 8:00 a.m. Mass at the church, Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesday morning will begin at 9:15 a.m.
